The Laura Canselor School of Technology is dedicated to equipping individuals with essential trade skills, academic support, and workforce readiness through hands-on training, apprenticeship opportunities, and practical experience. Our goal is to provide accessible education and career pathways to promote economic empowerment and self-suffciency.

Hours of Operations:

    • Monday – Thursday
      • Classroom Instruction: 10 AM – 12 PM
      • Lunch Break: 12 PM – 1 PM
      • Paid Practical Work/Apprenticeship: 1 PM – 4 PM

        • Kitchen Safety and Basic Cooking Techniques – Knife skills, safety standards, and basic food preparation
          • Menu Planning and Food Preparation – Creating simple menus and preparing diverse dishes
          • Culinary Techniques and Presentation – Advanced cooking methods and food plating
          • Catering and Special Event Planning – Food service for large groups and event coordination
          • Apprenticeship Opportunities – Practical work in local kitchens, catering companies, and restaurants
